The song lyrics themsleves dont' really qualify what I'm doing, but everyone knows thow the chorus. "I'm leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again..."
Well, I kind of do. June 2016 is the plan. Until then, I will be udating this blog to give my perceptions of Japanese life as compared to my American life from Southern California.
For the last ten years I've lived an and worked for the City of Garden Grove. I've volunteered for many organizations that make the city a better place to live. To me, a life serving the public has been the most rewarding. I'm hoping I can do the same in my new home.
That does sound a bit more grandiose than reality, but I do try to help.
